Mani – altar piece

A talismanic vessel evoking the dream-powers of Mani, to guide you into the darkness of night, into visions and dreams. Mani is a slightly forgotten God from the Norse mythology. He is the embodiment of the moon, the watcher of dreams and visions, guiding us through time and the passing of seasons. This Mani talisman is made to guide you through the darkness of night into clear dreams and visions. Mani helps you in your dream quests, takes you by the hand to ensure clear visions and can give you the dreams you want. He does his best work when you place him besides your bed, where he can watching you sleep and keep track of your dreams.

Mani is made during the day and consecrated in the light of the full moon. To bring forth his powers he has resided a full moon circle on my nightstand, guiding me through dreams, visions and the death of night. There was even one nightmare, because I had asked me to give me one.
